Ophtho On-Call is operated by Maple Grove Eyecare, P.C. (Boise, Idaho) for the Treasure Valley community ophthalmology call group. By using the site or our text messaging program you agree to these terms.
Ophtho On-Call text messaging program
- Program: Ophtho On-Call texts for the community ophthalmology call group: sign-in codes, consult pages and updates, call-schedule and trade notices, replies to your messages, and occasional announcements to the physicians in the group.
- Who receives texts: call-roster physicians and office staff who sign in with a mobile number, clinicians who check the text-update box on the consult request form, and anyone who texts our number first. How each group opts in is described on the text messaging page.
- Frequency: message frequency varies with call activity.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to resume.
- Help: reply HELP, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your mobile number is never sold or shared for marketing. See the privacy policy.
Not a substitute for emergency services
Texts and web pages can be delayed. A consult request is not a replacement for calling the on-call physician's office, the answering service, or 911. If a page is not acknowledged promptly, call directly using the numbers shown on the home page.
Patient information
Do not put patient identifiers in a text message or in the "reason" field of the consult form. Patient details belong only in the encrypted patient section of the consult form, which is never sent by text.
Accounts
Sign-in is limited to physicians and offices on the call roster. Keep your personal sign-in link to yourself. Access can be removed when a physician or practice leaves the call group.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version.
